Aldo is 4!

So I've been MIA for a bit.  Not quite sure how that happened but despite my lack of blog posts, we've been busy doing lots of different things.  January seemed awfully long and boring but somehow we got through it and now February is flying by.

Last week, my little guy turned 4.  4!  It seems like he was just learning how to walk and now he's talking a mile a minute, going to preschool and growing up before my eyes. 

I wish I could take a video of him and his banter to show you all just how unbelievable his vocabulary is for a four year old.  He can talk just about as much (and sometimes more!) than his older brother.  It's not how much he says, but what he says and the level of intelligence with which he says it. 

Aldo absolutely loves to play anything army.  We've got little army men, big army men and he can even dress up like an army man!  He loves to do it all.  Some of his other favorite things to play are basically whatever Eliel is playing with.  :)


Aldo's favorite things to eat are noodles, yogurt or fruit, although noodles are definitely at the top of his list.  He recently started karate and while he seems to be enjoying it, we're still waiting to see if he takes to it as passionately as Eliel has. 

At a recent pediatrician visit, he weighed 37 lbs which is the 67th percentile and was 41 inches tall at the 81st percentile.  He's almost the same height that Eliel was when he was a year older.  We're guessing he's going to be tall like his Daddy. 


Aldo is a a fun, carefree, sweet little boy.  He's always there to give a hug when you need one.  He loves to laugh and has a great sense of humor (for a four year old of course!). We're looking forward to all the fun he's going to have while he's four!
