Magic Kingdom, part 1

Monday we started off bright and early at Magic Kingdom.  It's a huge park with lots to do for the little guys so we knew we wouldn't get to everything in one day.  Everyone was very excited though because there were so many 'have to do' rides. To be honest, I'm not sure who was the most excited, the kids, or Papa!

We had to make sure we hit up some of our favorite rides right off the bat such as Jungle Cruise, Pirates of the Carribean and Big Thunder Mountain.  Eliel was SOOOO excited to try Big Thunder Mountain and after going twice, he decided he was done with roller coasters.  :) Check out the quick video of Eliel riding Big Thunder Mountain!  

We continued on to rides like Dumbo, the Barnstormer, Little Mermaid, Peter Pan and even made it to Buzz Lightyear which was a HUGE hit with the boys!  Who wouldn't want to go around shooting the evil Emperor Zurg!

The boys even got to meet Buzz which was definitely a highlight of the day!  

 The best part of the day was watching the boys experience all these new things that they had been dreaming about.  Eliel was absolutely a doll and was invested in everything that was going on around him.  Aldo had fun but he definitely was a little more shy of the characters than we were anticipating.

Magic Kingdom day was a HUGE success and while we had planned to leave early and head back to get to bed early, we ended up staying until fireworks just before closing.  It was okay though because luckily, the next day was a 'rest day' although it tuned out to be anything but!
