9 months

9 Months Old

Ummm... excuse me?  How did this little guy get to be nine months old already? Now I know what parents and grandparents mean when the say time flies when you've got kids. No kidding!

Eliel has recently discovered that he has an opinion... and he's not afraid to express it!  In the last month, he has definitely displayed his preferences for certain things.  He enjoys spoons, bowls (especially Mommy's metal ones!), tv remotes, cell phones, Nugget and my kindle.  He also LOVES buckets and enjoys putting things in them.  Toys, spoons, blocks, and socks all go in the buckets.  Then, we dump them bucket and do it all over again!  Yay!  I can't complain because at least he's cleaning up after himself.  :)

Yep, I'm awesome!

Eliel also continues to be a very good eater.  He eats three solid meals and four milk snacks each day.  His favorite food seems to be pineapple chicken but he didn't seem to mind the chicken fingers at Village Tavern either! :)  He also enjoys apples and oatmeal with a little apple pie spice thrown it!
He sleeps from about 8pm until around 6:30am for which Mommy and Daddy are very grateful! He of course is just beginning to crawl and it won't be long before he is zooming around the house.  The baby gate is up on the stairs to the basement and all of the electrical sockets have been covered.  Nugget gets a little nervous when Eliel starts to move towards him.  Poor guy has no idea what he's in for...






Well, I think I've updated you on all the developments in Eliel's world.  The next month is going to be so much fun with the holidays.  I can't wait to see him interact with all our family members (and maybe even Santa!)
