Merry Christmas & Happy New Year!

Whew!  Well that year flew by!  At this point last year we were eagerly making arrangements for our new little friend and now I can't imagine what we did without him.  He's brought so much joy to so many people; he really is a special little guy.

Well, Christmas has also come and gone.  Eliel was unable to stay up late at the window watching for Santa but he must have been a good boy this year because Santa brought him just what he asked for...

 A Red Ukulele!

I have a video of him opening his gift but I haven't had a chance to upload it yet so you'll have to wait to see.  Christmas was such a great day, there really are no words to say how wonderful it was!  Eliel was able to spend Christmas with BOTH sides of his family.  Eliel's Christmas dinner table was filled with two parents, four grandparents, one great-grandparent, two aunts and an uncle.  Now that is one lucky little boy!

Eliel had lots of fun opening up his gifts (as well as anyone else who would let him open theirs) and of course eating dinner.  I still wonder where he get his love of food from...
He eats pretty much anything we eat now, just in small bites.  He had Christmas ham, pierogis,  peas, potatoes and some cheesecake... YUM!  All in all, it was a wonderful day!

In these final hours of 2013, I just want to take a moment to thank all of our family and friends for making this year absolutely unforgettable.  Each and everyone of you have touched our lives and we are so thankful.  Here's hoping 2014 is even better than 2013! (If that's even possible...)
 Happy New Year!
