So the weather didn't really cooperate this weekend but we managed to get a lot done as well as had a little bit of fun.
We had been hoping to go to our town's Memorial Day parade but that was canceled so we went to the parade at the next town over. We sat right at the beginning and were able to watch the fire trucks lining up. Eliel was in awe of course. The parade was actually quite short which turned out to be lucky for us. Just as the last group was walking past us, the sky opened up into a downpour. I felt bad for the little Girl Scouts as the began to get drenched.
After we returned how, we tried to figure out what to do on a rainy day. So, Daddy decided that it was time to bring out his old Star Wars toys. What better way to pass the time! (I'm not sure who had more fun, Eliel or Daddy!)
