Aldo is 4 months old already! Time is sure flying by way faster with him that I felt like it did with Eliel. It's amazing how similar my boys are yet so different.
Aldo's latest doctor's appointment went very well. He now weighs 14 pounds, 9 ounces which is the 30th percentile. He didn't gain very much weight this past month but apparently that's typical of breastfed babies. I went back and checked and the same thing happened to Eliel. Aldo grew 1.5 inches though in a month and now is 25.5 inches at the 68th percentile! He's going to be tall like his Daddy!
Aldo is also officially off of Zantac. We've had some more spitting up because of it but he doesn't seem bothered by it like he was a few months ago so I'll deal with all the extra laundry. He seems to do better with probiotics so we try and give those to him daily.
Aldous is a very expressive little guy. He is very very vocal and will smile at anyone he recognizes. He's got a great little personality so far! He has learned how to grab objects and will grab anything within reach. He especially loves curly hair! Ouch! You can see what he did to my '4 months' sign below when he realized it was there. I know it's only going to get harder to take pictures of him holding still from here on out!
Aldo can also roll from tummy to back and from back to tummy as well. He sleeps on his tummy and for a week or so, he would accidentally roll himself over in the middle of the night and not be able to roll back so he needed an assist from Mommy. Now, he can generally roll himself back thankfully. Aldous sleeps through the night from 8pm-6am although sometimes he will sleep till 7am. Every night we put him down to sleep I wonder if he'll continue the trend! Of course now if we could just get Eliel to always sleep all night we'd be set! :P
