Science Center and Forest Park

St. Louis has a wonderful area called Forest Park.  It's a HUGE park area right in the middle of the city.  It's even bigger than Central Park.  It has a ton of museums and public areas.  It was also the site of the 1904 World's Fair.
Adam wanted to see a select few monuments in the park and so we were luck enough to visit those.  One was called the Jewel Box and is a glass conservatory.  Lucky for us it was air conditioned but the landscaping around the outside was more beautiful than inside!
We also went to the World's Fair Pavilion.  Although it has been rebuilt since 1904, it was still an awesome site to see!

One of our favorite museums in the park was the Science Center.  Eliel probably could have spent a a second day there.  They had exhibits about the Mars Rover which he is completely obsessed with right now.  I think he knows more about it than me!  It allowed you to remotely control the rover and even had a video link so you could see where you were going.  Eliel spent lots of time with Daddy trying to maneuver the rover.
Eliel and Daddy also went to the Omnimax theater and watched a movie about the International Space Station (also one of Eliel's obsessions) while Aldo went back to the room to take a nap.  It was a nice break for everyone!
Eliel had a blast playing with all the hands on exhibits (and so did Daddy!)  I'm sure if we ever go back to STL this will be one place we definitely revisit.
