This little guy is not so little anymore! At the doctor, he weighed 35 pounds placing him in the 11th percentile. He is 42.5 inches tall which is the 41st percentile.
Our latest trip to the doctor was quite eventful! Our new pediatrician treated Eliel like a big boy and asked him questions instead of talking to me. He did very well in answering and doing exactly as she asked. She was very pleased with everything and said he is extremely healthy. He did have to get two shots for kindergarten but he handled it like a champ. Since he doesn't eat meat typically, she requested that we test his iron levels to make sure they aren't deficient. So, the poor little guy had to have his blood taken. He did SO well and even watched them the first time. Sadly though, there were not able to find a vein and had to try his other arm. That's when he got upset and rightfully so. Despite that, he was super brave and they took three half-vials of blood. I felt so bad for him I took him to McDonald's to get a chocolate shake afterwards!
