It was a very cold and damp day last week but despite that, Eliel enjoyed his first baseball game of the season. This year, he is on a coach pitch league so he's really excited to be able to actually hit the ball, not just off of a tee.
He is on a team with kids from his school in kindergarten and first grade. They're a really nice bunch of boys and the dads that run the team are just as kind. He's really learned a lot and has come a long way in just a few weeks of practice.
I'm so excited to see how he progresses this season. His coach says he understands the game and fundamentals very well and that once his body catches up with his brain, he'll be golden. Can't wait for that to happen!
