Seven years ago this little guy made his entrance into the world and turned mine upside down. I went from going to work one morning to being a mom that evening. My whole life changed in that day and while I had read so much beforehand, nothing prepared me for the ride I was about to take. And what an amazing ride it's been.
Eliel continues to blow us away with his intelligence and his diligence. His latest loves are legos, army battles and playing with Aldo. Sometimes they seem inseparable. While they do fight, they generally get along quite well. Eliel's love of legos has really taken off recently and he not only loves putting new sets together, but he also enjoys taking out Adam's boxes of legos from when he was a kid and putting them together. Lately, it seems like we have Legos everywhere!
Eliel has become and avid reader and loves to read books, especially historical fiction ones like 'The Magic Tree House' series and the 'I Survived' series. He is excelling at school and has a passion for learning. He loves science and math. He has a cute little group of friends that he plays with at school and believe it or not, play soccer with them all whenever he gets the chance.
At the pediatrician visit, Eliel was 45 pounds which put him in the 19th percentile and 48 inches tall which is the 43rd percentile. He's finally moved out of the single digit percentiles for weight! He checks out just like a seven year old boy should!
Eliel is a kind, hard working kid. I'm looking forward to watching him learn and grow this year!
